Description:

You love working in a team to see projects through from start to finish, and you’re a proactive problem solver who doesn’t let a project hiccup slow you down. You have progressive experience working on project teams and place a high importance on quality work.
Binnie is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Langley Development & Infrastructure Division, which provides professional civil engineering services for local municipalities and private developers alike. Typical projects include road and utility improvements and replacements, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control and major residential, commercial and industrial developments. You will be based out from our Langley office. This is a full-time position, which also offers a hybrid working arrangement.
You will work with our experienced Senior Project Managers and our talented engineering team to ensure we meet our client needs. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement. You will utilize your excellent client networking and business development skills to secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients.
This is a dynamic and challenging role with a competitive compensation package and opportunities for career advancement. A relocation reimbursement will be offered if relocation is required for the opportunity.

We support some of the most important infrastructure in the province and beyond.
We’re looking for professionals who want to build careers and communities that last. We can’t do it without you.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in active business development
  • Acting as the key contact on projects working with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff
  • Preparing proposals and reports in coordination with our proposal team (under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager)
  • Developing project schedules and coordinating resources
  • Monitoring budget and progress on projects
  • Providing mentoring to less experienced Assistant Project Managers and guidance to the project team
