Job Description
Role Summary
Main Tasks
- Analysis and Review of Requirements: In collaboration with development, manufacturing departments, and sales, you analyze project requirements from product management and customers, evaluating their feasibility during project preparation.
- Definition and Coordination of Tasks: Within the scope of project objectives, you define tasks within a project team and coordinate them. You provide technical leadership to team members in virtual, multifunctional, and multicultural teams, review work results, and discuss them.
- Coordination and Problem Management: You steer and monitor the project workflow and contributing entities, identify deviations, bottlenecks, and organizational or technical issues, and develop appropriate corrective actions while considering economic and technical constraints.
- Development of Schedules and Timelines: You create schedules and project timelines aligned with the Idea-to-Value Project Management Process, including relevant milestones, and coordinate these both internally and externally.
- Project Documentation and Reporting: You monitor project progress, create and maintain documentation, reports, and decision-making templates. You prepare topics for steering committees, providing clear decision bases and recommendations.
- Budget Monitoring: You manage and control the project budget, including tracking cost deviations and initiating corrective measures as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: You build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and senior management.
- Risk Management: You identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to timelines, costs, and quality through appropriate measures.
- Fostering Innovation: You support innovation processes within the project team and promote new ideas.
- Process Optimization: You identify and implement improvement opportunities in existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
- > 10 years working experience in the area of project management
- Preferred well connected within M+H organization and experience in M+H core business
- Highly developed business acumen and ability to handle diversified subjects
- Reliability also under time pressure and strategic drive and innovation in thinking and acting
- Achievement oriented and experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Collaborate and build effective high performing project teams
- Analytical, logical, business and data-driven mindset
- Excellent MS-Office skills
- Excellent fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
