In support of our expansion, we are currently seeking a Project Manager to support the M&A process. In this role, reporting to the Head of M&A and with a dotted line to the Group IT Director, you will organise and coordinate the full integration process, including the associated change management activities. Working alongside the Head of M&A, you will design integration strategies as appropriate to each acquisition, assign roles, monitor progress, and resolve issues. You will also draft the 100 Days plan, which should include a communication strategy (both internal and external), identify key geographies for potential synergies, establish transversal teams and roles, define appropriate objectives, and manage any relevant committees.

Additional requirements include:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • At least three years’ project management experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; an additional European language would be desirable
  • Demonstrable experience of working across European countries and appreciation of the different cultures within these
  • Excellent MS Office skills including MS Project
  • Solutions and results orientated, balanced with a pragmatic mindset
  • Organised and professional with the ability to multi-task
  • Process orientated with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work independently and to remain calm under pressure
  • Previous use of project management tools
  • Degree or equivalent preferre

Responsibilities:

No two days will be the same, but the types of activities the Project Manager (M&A) will be involved in include:

  • Develop and implement a project timeline for integration, ensuring all predefined deadlines are consistently met.
  • Change Management – Develop and distribute clear communication; provide support to both existing and new employees by signposting them to appropriate solutions; and create or source relevant training as appropriate.
  • Work with the Managing Directors of each country to ensure that each Nomios entity fully understands the product and service offerings of the new company.
  • Collaborate with the local HR teams within Nomios to cultivate an effective talent acquisition strategy that supports sales growth, while also developing processes that focus on the retention of new team members.
  • Work with the Nomios ‘Group’ organisation to align operational processes across different local entities.
  • Oversee and coordinate the integration of systems and processes (ERP, CRM, HR), working with the appropriate internal teams.
