SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 D.O.E

Metalis are currently working with a leading fabrication and manufacturing business who supplies bespoke solutions into a range of industries including Water, Plant machinery, HVAC Systems and industrial machinery to name a few. Due to a bursting order book with new projects coming on all the time our client is looking to recruit a hands on Project Manager to hit the ground running and be part of a developing team. You must have tangible evidence of leading high performing teams, successfully completed projects within agree time frames and a passion for innovation & Continuous improvement.
Our client is looking for a hands on Project Manager who leads from the front and not someone who prefers to be in the office.
Due to the immediacy of the work our client is looking to fill this role as soon as possible. There is no option for sponsorship or relocation however.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working within a fabrication/engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in either SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• 3-5 years within a hands on Projects Role.
• Demonstrable experience leading project to succesful completion.
• Able to motivate and delegate effectively.

JOB DUTIES

• Manage teams of Project Engineers, Installation Engineers, and Fabricators
• Ensure QHSE policies are adhered to and of the highest standard.
• Be an integral point of contact for installation days and set ups ensuring a smooth line of communication between business and client.
• Manage agreed project time lines including completion, updates and deliveries.
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
• Attend Client meetings representing the business on new business and project updates.
• Work with manufacturing department to work out method of manufacturing
• Report project proposals and updates tot he senior leadership team.
• Manage expectations by building rapport with the client to keep relationships high if unforeseen circumstances arise.
