The Opportunity
MOBIA is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our team remotely. This role is dynamic for a driven professional with strong leadership skills and a customer-focused approach. You will ensure the successful execution of projects, delivering consistent, on-time results of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
Managing customer satisfaction.
Overseeing project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
Planning, monitoring, and documenting all project phases.
Delivering results using a traditional waterfall project management approach, ideal for telecom-related projects.
This position emphasizes resource, task, budget/material, and vendor management. A technical aptitude and background in the Telco Voice/ISP/Broadband network space will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of telecom technical projects, ranging from small-scale initiatives to large, complex builds or commissioning projects.
Develop and maintain project plans, including scope statements, delivery schedules, resource allocation, communication plans, goals, milestones, and deadlines.
Track project stages, mitigate risks, and escalate roadblocks as necessary.
Coordinate and oversee all tasks required to initiate, execute, and close projects.
Provide detailed project documentation, reporting, and follow-up for internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate regular customer meetings and maintain consistent communication with all team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Ensure completed projects meet specifications and are thoroughly documented.
Monitor project budgets, track material costs, and ensure compliance with invoice and financial forecasting requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, or Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, or Implementation Management.
Leadership experience and team coaching skills are an asset.
Experience managing projects using Waterfall methodology
Technical aptitude in the telecom industry are definite assets
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including schedules and budgets.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite and the ability to quickly learn new software.
Ability to travel as required.
PMP certification is an asset.
Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
