Description:

INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE

We’re looking for an experienced project manager who will drive and deliver constituent projects within the Future Dunham Massey Programme, working seamlessly with the programme management and property teams. This role sits within North Regional Consultancy.
What it’s like to work here:Dunham Massey is one of only 25 ‘Discovery Houses’, with annual visitors of over 800,000 to the mansion, ancient deer park and formal gardens. The property also has an extensive landholding, bridging rural Cheshire and urban Manchester.
You’ll be a project manager within the programme team, drawing upon your experience of procurement (contractors and/or consultants), proactive risk management and project finance as you work with our staff, internal subject matter experts and externally appointed professional teams. You’ll be working within a rapidly developing project management culture and will continue your development through a range of opportunities to enhance your existing skills.
Your contractual place of work will be the National Trust Altrincham Regional Office. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at Dunham Massey. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week.
What you’ll be doing:You will play a pivotal role in project delivery at Dunham Massey, supporting the programme manager in delivering transformational change. You’ll leverage your e xperience of managing your own time within the context of a very busy and varied workload, in addition to managing time, cost and quality constraints within disparate projects to deliver a wide range of outputs, including through construction projects; developing options, managing progress and reporting on each project to the relevant Project Board and the programme.
You’ll build strong relationships and connections across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to build momentum and help ensure our work delivers great outcomes, in some instances overseeing the delivery of projects resourced through the Associate Model.
