Description:
Working within the Programme Director and wider mental health team, the post holder will be expected to drive the delivery of projects and objectives, whilst developing and implementing processes and systems to manage project information.
The post holder will provide accurate, timely and high-quality reports on project progress and outputs against forecasts and strategic aims of the areas in scope of the system board.
The post holder will work with Programme Director, programme leads and key clinical staff to identify and overcome risks to ensure successful delivery projects and the objectives of the mental health programme. It is expected that this role will support adult mental health projects.

Responsibilities:
- The primary point of contact for project management for the areas in scope, particularly around the reporting of project outputs.
- Supports programmes of work within workstreams of the mental health programme.
- Develops and maintains appropriate project plans and performance management systems, ensuring that timely and accurate progress updates are received through the agreed governance, including Senior Management Teams, mental health programme and Executive Directors, and by other external stakeholders as required.
- Oversees and interacts with local project teams in the management and delivery of projects.
- Analyses and evaluates project progress on a regular basis, formulating, presenting and implementing strategies to minimise risk and maximise benefit to deliver the overall project/ programme objectives.
- Produces frequent highlight reports, maintains risk registers, and ensures action logs for agreed projects/ programmes
- Works with the Programme Director to ensure that reports to the Mental Health System Group are developed as required and within the agreed timescales.
- Supports the training of local project delivery staff (clinical and non-clinical) within all partner organisations as required.
