Description:

  • Permanent, Full-time,, Conveniently located close to Perth airport
  • Salary $120k - $130k (depending on experience) + Car Allowance
  • End to End Project Management with an emphasis on HVAC
    Our client celebrated their 20-year anniversary in 2022 having grown to over 400 employees across 11 branches throughout Australia during this time, they continue to win commercial contracts year on year. Their teams of engineers and technicians apply the latest technology to provide design, construction, commissioning, whole of life maintenance and repairs across 10,000 sites in various sectors.
    Currently looking for a Project Manager to work out of their Belmont office, your responsibilities and skills will focus on a range of tasks from resource management, safety, quality control, client relations, and team leadership, to ensure timely and effective project completion. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout projects.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ management
  • Project management qualifications and experience
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC systems
  • Strong literacy skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Driver’s license
  • White card
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Digital Literacy skills including the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Previous experience working in similar position

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient deployment and management of resources for each project
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Managing OH&S systems, training, and compliance for projects
  • Ensure that all quality management system requirements are implemented in project management process
  • Ensure that all construction work is carried out in a timely manner, in line with contractual obligations
  • Assist with any design or coordination issues that arise
  • Coordinate resources in relation to projects, with the aim of achieving optimum levels of productivity
  • Engage and work closely with all sub-contractors, to ensure all projects are delivered in line with specifications and on time
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders and proposals
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects
  • Provide monthly project progress report
  • Provide guidance on engineering aspects, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements
  • Manage toolbox talks and safety requirements on site
  • Manage and supervise site inspections, witness tests and commissioning
  • Maintain regular contact with the client throughout each project
  • Mentor site supervisors and all team members
