QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fire protection industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of passive fire protection systems.
  • Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read/ interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software/ tools such as Office 365.
  • Ability to prepare/ present reports in MS Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving/ decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications- NVQ6, IFE level 3 (2) and SMSTS are desirable
  • Project management: a minimum of 4 years’ experience (preferred)

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Passive Fire Project Manager to lead/ manage one of our major passive fire protection projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection, excellent project management skills, and commitment to safety and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of this project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of one of our major projects.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with our client, our staff and internal office teams to ensure the project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to compliance/details.
  • Carry out regular inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare/ present project reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement of materials.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the project team.
  • Create/ sustain strong relationships with the client, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
