Description:
Key Roles/Responsibilities: Roles/Responsibilities:
- Together with Business Development, reviews received RFIs/RFPs to assess the attractiveness and “fit” of new business to the site’s capability.
- Together with Business Development, co-ordinates the inputs to be able to prepare a proposal in response to client RFIs/RFQs to meet committed timelines from Business Development and/or the customer. Provide Business Development with visibility of RFP workload and prioritisation.
- Together with Business Development, hosts client visits to site for new clients/business or as part of the client project review process.
- Ensures that all won business has a project kick-off meeting where all information relevant to the program is shared with the team with a schedule with individual accountabilities agreed and committed to.
- Co-ordinates key aspects of client communication relating to quality, cost and delivery. Has overall responsibility for customer satisfaction and management of their expectations. It is important that the client has up to date project timings. Issues should be communicated in an open transparent fashion with options of solutions provided.
- Acts as the voice of the customer within Piramal to prevent conflicts of interest developing. Ensures that all “out of scope” activity is identified ASAP and that agreement is reached whether the scope will be absorbed by the site or negotiated with the client for financial recompense.
- Works with Technical Project teams to ensure all invoices relating to project delivery are executed on time in line with financial forecasting.
- Tracks progress of submitted proposals with Business Development to ensure status on quotations is current and all that is required to secure the business is proactively identified. Works with Business Development to determine the reason that unsuccessful business has been lost.
- Proactively identifies approaches to improve the quotation and costing process to deliver efficiencies to improve process turnaround and reduce the level of input required to generate customer proposals.
