    The Role
    We are seeking to engage a Senior Project Manager to join our Power & Energy Team This role can be based in New South Wales / Victoria. You’ll be responsible for applying high-level innovative, economical, and practical methods to drive the success of complex, high-priority projects across SMEC’s major renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project management of complex and large-scale Renewable projects
  • Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of deliverables
  • Financial management, client liaison and contract administration
  • Oversight and governance of projects to resolve project issues and ensure project product is of high quality
  • Provision of coaching and support to project personnel
  • Source, build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities

About You

Suitable applicants will be/have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years domestic project management experience, within the power and energy space
  • Significant Primary Substation Design experience
  • High level communication skills to advise and guide project delivery in a pro-active manner
  • A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships with tier one developers to drive positive change and win new work
