Our Client is a private bank that has a presence across multiple countries in Asia. They are seeking to hire a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Private Banking and Wealth Management. The role requires deep expertise in the Avaloq Core Platform and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in functional analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement. This multifaceted position demands flexibility, adaptability, and the capability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive functional analysis in Private Banking and Wealth Management.
• Collaborate with various business functions, including Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Manage and lead projects across the entire application development life cycle, including planning, budget management, approval processes, sourcing, monitoring, and implementation.
• Develop and manage complex models independently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and solve problems effectively.
• Apply methodologies in application development (e.g., Agile, waterfall) to optimize project outcomes.
• Handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities, ensuring deadlines are met.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in functional analysis within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Strong familiarity with the Avaloq Core Platform; Avaloq certification is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in banking business operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on banking operations.
• Demonstrated strong project management experience.
• Excellent command of the MS Office suite.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to manage a role with complex and unpredictable tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
