Lonza in Visp is undergoing a massive transformation. Moreover there is a constant challenge to increase efficiency following Lean principles. The services and provided by Logistics teams need to be regularly reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose, addressing the requirements of the Divisions in line with benchmarks and best practice
As a project manager you will be responsible to define, design and implement dedicated programs on site, hands-on from start to implementation. In this role you will manage Senior stakeholders up to EC level, lead the project team and ensure successful implementation of program goals and realization of expected benefits. Based on your respective certifications and experience you will also be responsible to further embed Lean principles in the ways of working of the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify areas of improvement and drive alignment of priorities together with senior stakeholders or Site Leadership Team Visp.
  • Prepare program delivery based on a thorough analysis of As-Is Situation and current challenges and define clear scope, targets and overall business case embedding cross-functional/ divisional requirements.
  • Ensure successful delivery of program objectives actively engaging and managing various project team members through influence (not line) and embedding change agents across impacted departments.
  • Prepare and lead Steering Committee updates and decision requests and proactively raise risks or bottlenecks to the required stakeholder level.
  • Manage dependencies, assure alignment and drive synergies with other local or global programs & initiatives and embed Lean standards in ways of working and throughout project methodology
  • Embed Lean standards in ways of working and throughout project methodology.

Key requirements:

  • Master in Business Administration/ Life Sciences/ Engineering/ Logistics or similar Qualification
  • Lean Management Certification Yellow Belt or above is required
  • Fluency in English and German
