Description:
As a Project Manager for R&D Innovation unit, you will be a key contributor on a team developing leading edge technology in one of the most exciting fields in the world.
You will support several workstreams to deliver on the goals and initiatives for the projects and resolve or facilitate impediments the team will have. You will play a crucial role supporting the team through an iterative quarterly planning, execution and monitoring to project completion. You will also be an advocate for the team, charged with balancing delivery timelines and scope with team capacity. Reporting to the Delivery Lead, your proactive and autonomous approach will lead you to work across various areas such as engineering, product, operations, marketing, legal, procurement and HR.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3 years Project management experience, preferably in a startup or scale-up technology-focused environment
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and interfacing with various departments such as procurement, legal, marketing, and HR
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Sciences or similar field is preferred.
- Familiarity with the blockchain technology space is a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (but you are not required to have hands-on involvement)
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project workflows, from inception to final handover to the internal and external customers, ensuring all projects adhere to agreed scope and timeline
- Collaborate with various teams outside of R&D Innovation including operations, marketing, legal, procurement, and HR through creation and monitoring of service tickets
- Establish and maintain project schedules, including tracking dependencies, deadlines, and milestones
- Be a catalyst agent for the quarterly planning process (PI Planning) playing a role model, coaching, supporting role
- Facilitate cross-departmental and external stakeholders meetings to ensure project alignment and address any issues promptly.
- Work with the organization to build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving
- Contribute to a culture of success by fostering collaboration, promoting innovation, and encouraging continuous improvement across the team
