QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- 1+ year experience in project management in multi-site retail or QSR organisations in an end-to-end capacity
- Understanding of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards for Food & Access
- Current NSW Driver’s License
- Intermediate-level REVIT and AUTOCAD experience
- Experience using Smartsheet is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel domestically
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Project Manager – Refurbishments, manages the design and construction of all Mad Mex restaurant refurbishments. Under the guidance of the Head of Design & Construction, this role ensures that all refurbishments are functional, cost-effective, meet brand standards, and adhere to project timelines. Additionally, the Project Manager seeks ways to improve efficiency and alleviate the refurbishment backlog.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Design and Construction:
- Manage refurbishment timelines and approvals
- Coordinate maintenance and handle defects
- Collaborate on designs and ensure budget compliance
- Align with landlord requirements and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Support new restaurant designs as needed
Project Management
- Ensure projects adhere to budget, timelines, and scope
- Manage project administration using Smartsheet
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle
- Communicate updates and developments proactively
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Identify and manage issues and risks with effective strategies
