Description:

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality projects; safely, on time and within budget? Do you have a track record of working on railway stations, depots and other rail infrastructure? If you answered yes to these questions, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking a Project Manager to join our Control Period 7 (CP7) renewals portfolio in the Wales & Western region. Some of the initial projects are located in Plymouth, Penzance, West Drayton, Truro, Swansea, and Bristol with further projects spread across the region for the next five years. The CP7 Stations and Buildings framework, covers several packages including renewals of; canopies, buildings, depots, platform structures, car parks and subways for the region between 2024 and 2029.

ABOUT YOU…. (WHAT YOU ARE SKILLED AT, YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Good all-round rail, CDM and engineering knowledge with relevant experience in suitable disciplines, such as Temporary works, Civils, M&E, Geotechnical and/or rail disciplines like permanent way, signalling, telecoms and E&P.
  • Experienced at working for a tier 1 contractor.
  • Experience of personal responsibility in managing a project portfolio up to £15 million.
  • SMSTS competent.
  • Knowledge of programming and Conditions of contract (NEC, ICE).
