Overview
The Leyenaar Lab in the Department of Pediatrics at Dartmouth Health is recruiting a Research Project Manager to support federally funded research focused on prenatal opioid exposure, adolescent mental health, suicide risk, and social determinants of health. We are seeking an individual with scientific manuscript and grant writing experience, either qualitative or quantitative data expertise (or both); experience engaging with adolescents and their caregivers will be an asset. Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and manages implementation of project activities including evaluations, data collection and management, project coordination, and collaborative relations.
  • Coordinates and attends meetings to determine project requirements and participates in establishing timelines and project organization.
  • Tracks and manages program activity and collaborates with partners to assure integrity of project and timely problem resolution.
  • Assists and guides project assistants and other partners and supervises project staff as required.
  • Assures that data are successfully collected and managed so that confidentiality and data integrity is maintained, conduct data analysis as appropriate and provide reporting as required.
  • Organizes and participates in project meetings and follows up on communication among project participants in conjunction with Principal Investigators.
  • Monitors ongoing project plans, progress, budgets and expenditures and effectively communicates project status to leaders as applicable.
  • Prepares and initiates completion timelines and ensures all required project close out documents are obtained.
  • May develop training and instructional materials, manuals, and toolkits as needed.
  • May prepare project communications via web sites and written materials for partners, sponsors and governmental agencies.
  • Assists in proposal writing, and participates in development of papers and presentations.
  • Participates in project review and recommends ideas for improvement initiatives.
  • Performs all other duties as required or assigned
