POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager leads and coordinates diverse projects, including software development, systems integration, content production, and community development. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining project quality and achieving successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to lead and manage complex, enterprise-wide implementations using standard project management principles. This includes establishing scope, managing risk, delivering on time / on budget, and engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.

WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS

This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration. Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, and the hiring range will be $110,00 - $115,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. *Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
  • Contributes to strategic and financial planning and coordinates the execution of technical projects
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Assembles and manages technology projects, ensuring the efficient use of human, technical, and other resources
  • Conducts project meetings, tracks and analyzes project status
  • Ensures that OIT staff and their partners are part of the planning process and have the opportunity to provide input and feedback throughout the project lifecycle
  • Works on multiple projects as a project leader.
  • Works on projects or issues of high priority for the business or OIT
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
