Description:
Our client in the Lower Fairfield, CT area has an opening for a Senior Accounting Consultant to work on updating/re-writing their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Hybrid 3 days in office, 3-6 months in duration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the initiative to rewrite and revise all accounting procedures within the company.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and the accounting team to ensure the effective implementation of revised procedures.
- Oversee the completion of specific accounting procedures such as Accounts Receivable and Month-End Procedures.
- Manage changes resulting from system upgrades and organizational restructuring.
- Ensure the project aligns with the company’s operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor the progress of the project, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure the project is completed within the specified timeframe while adhering to high-quality standards.
- Continually assess the effectiveness of the revised procedures and make further revisions as necessary.
