Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

We are offering an opportunity to a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant, this role involves managing medium to large scale projects and implementing software and enterprise applications to increase staff productivity and efficient business operations. This role provides a long term contract employment opportunity.

• Oversee medium to large scale enterprise-wide projects by defining milestones, creating project plans, and monitoring project activity.
• Implement software and enterprise applications that facilitate efficient business operations and resource utilization.
• Establish release guidelines, manage release inventory, and oversee project closure activities.
• Publish metrics reporting, status, and dashboards and organize periodic review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements, SOX, and operational controls.
• Develop and secure approval for the project scope, objective, and related time schedules.
• Develop contingency plans, risk mitigation strategies, and manage issue logs.
• Liaison with other functional/technical teams for all project activity.
• Assist with the selection of methodology and documentation standards for the project team.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by management.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Consultant in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry
• Proficiency in CRM and database management
• Demonstrated knowledge of budget processes and financial planning
• Expertise in change management processes and implementation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Waterfall and Waterfall Agile project management methodologies
• PMI certification or relevant project management qualification preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards in waste management
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
