Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, you will take charge of orchestrating, supervising, and coordinating the project and onsite team, ensuring seamless daily communication with subcontractors to keep everything on track. Your mission is to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you’ll act as the key representative for SRG Global Facades, safeguarding and advancing our interests throughout the project. This role requires you to be proactive and resourceful, handling a range of responsibilities to achieve project success and uphold our standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor project management plans for Safety, Quality and environmental to ensure compliance, ensure that their team understand and adhere to the requirements.
- Provide mentoring, leadership and direction to site Supervisors and project teams through regular communication, site visits, attending tool box meetings and infield discussions.
- Ensure that the consultants and subcontractors discharge their duties in relation to the design, construction, management of the project in accordance with their respective terms of engagement and subcontract agreements.
- Provide appropriate advice and information in relation the design and construction of the project to achieve economic, technically sound and expeditious and safe completion of the project in accordance with the subcontract agreement.
- Control and review as required reports and recommendations to ensure that they accurately reflect the state of the project.
- Subject to the approval of the Construction Manager and General Manager, format all subcontracts and agreements necessary or as required for the construction of the works
- Review design to reduce costs while meeting SRG Global Facades’ goals.
- Ensure safe installation and evaluate tenders.
- Coordinate subcontractor start and manage administrative and budgeting procedures.
- Plan and adjust construction schedules; verify budget estimates and track costs.
- Administer subcontract agreements, manage on-site activities, and prepare monthly reports.
- Approve variations and monitor workmanship.
- Maintain records, conduct inspections, and oversee project completion, including as-built drawings and defect rectification.
