WHAT YOU BRING

• Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in systems engineering, or related fields but we value relevant skills and a willingness to grow just as highly.
• Educated or experienced in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and guide project teams.
• Familiarity in network architecture or IT-infrastructure, with a deep understanding of project management. We’re open to those who are still refining these skills.
• A business-focused mindset with the ability to see the big picture and meet customer expectations.
• A creative and solution-oriented approach, always looking for ways to innovate and improve processes.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

As a Project Manager Systems Engineering at MilDef, you will lead projects and guide specialist teams to deliver world-class tactical IT solutions to our customers. Your role will range from managing project teams, with expertise in several domains, to ensure our responsibilities as a system house are met. You believe in structured processes and methods while maintaining a business-focused approach to meet customer needs. As MilDef grows and evolves, your broad technical understanding will help steer projects forward, ensuring successful deliveries with time, cost and quality control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage complex solutions projects and, ensuring compliance with MilDef’s processes, ISO standards and/or customer defined project management requirements.
• Lead project teams and ensure timely delivery of deliverables within the project scope.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers within the given project(s) maintaining a strong business mindset and ensuring solutions meet their expectations.
• Oversee project budget, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and that deliverables, such as drawings, installation guides, and bills of materials, are completed.
• Continuously contribute to improve MilDef’s solutions process by introducing new technologies and refining project methodologies.
• Support and collaborate with internal departments to ensure all project goals are met.
