Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Bring together a range of functions that are required, to work together effectively to deliver projects for our customers. In the niche marketplace of Minerals processing, customer satisfaction through meeting commitments and targets is critical. Developing strategies with cross-functional teams to appropriately plan and complete projects on time and within expected margins is key for this role.
You will be the key customer support and interface for your respective projects. Connecting daily with engineering and production for progress tracking and issue resolution to provide clear understanding to customers of their order progress and, any requirements from the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal team members and customers, including expectations around quality and on-time delivery and represents the business at project meetings with the customer.
- Establishes and maintains standard project documentation to ensure transparency of status against program requirements and customer demands
- Plans, monitors and ensures completion of all activities to ensure targets are met on time for the contracted scope of work.
- Resolves project issues and any internal roadblocks within allowable project timeframes and providing updates to key team members.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by managing expectations, trouble shooting and providing accurate and timely reports, updates and financial forecasts
- Submit all vendor documentation as required by the project scope and on-time to the customer
- Evaluates project results against stated objectives and determines corrective action.
- Participates in practical process improvement (PPI) projects and activities, using Root-Cause Counter-Measure (RCCM) tools to evaluate gaps or misses in performance and establish sustainable corrective actions
