As a Project Manager - Tunnels, within EBC’s Major Projects group, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Maintain and enforce high standards for health and safety on project sites;
  • Manage the complete project from pre-bid planning, operations planning, submittal documentation, daily work efforts, bill/payment certificates, and project close-out;
  • Manage, lead, and control projects through lifecycle, including staff, subcontractors, and job management;
  • Develop/Review and collaborate on budgets, methodologies, submittals, and schedules;
  • Manage and participate in the processing of claims and extra work;
  • Collaborate with project staff, maximize production efficiencies, and develop safe and creative means and methods to add value and save costs on projects;
  • Develop and deliver quality projects reliably, sustainably, and environmentally focused;
  • Coach and mentor team members to foster a culture of betterment of individuals who work with the company;
  • Develop plans to maximize margins with safety in mind, and ensure the company’s interests are foremost during the project lifecycle;
  • Manage all aspects related to daily production, production issues, extra claims management, and related time and material cost management;
  • Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution.
