Responsibilities:
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and experienced Project Manager to work closely with academic and professional services staff across the Department of Statistics and the Mathematical Institute. This is a full-time, fixed-term post until April 2026. The role is split equally between the two departments that deliver mathematical sciences at Oxford, and acts as an essential bridge to deliver several strands of work that intertwine us.
Reporting to the Head of Administration and Finance (Department of Statistics) and Head of Faculty Services & HR (Mathematical Institute), you will deliver across an exciting and varied remit of large projects, at present focusing on preparation for the 2029 Research Excellence Framework exercise, as well as our closely aligned Athena SWAN and Race Equality plans, and continuous improvement programmes.
