Please note we are currently recruiting this position on a permanent basis however, we also have a 3-Month FTC available whilst we find a perm hire.

HOW YOU WILL ENERGIZE OUR TEAM.

Working in our Business Change team, we are currently seeking a Project Manager on a permanent basis to support on all business change initivatives. We also have a 3 month FTC available for anyone looking for a short term placement.
You will be responsible for managing projects, supporting in driving strategic change through the development of projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of a variety of business change projects from initial conception through to implementation and handover to BAU.
Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, you will enable the delivery of benefits and ensure plans are in place for key project stages to achieve key milestones, managing risks, issues and dependencies. Working collaboratively, you’ll coordinate all aspects of projects to ensure alignment with other programmes of work across the business.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a range of projects ‘end to end,’ demonstrating the ability to successfully deliver multiple concurrent and/or complex projects to time, cost, quality and scope
  • Delivering projects using a variety of approaches – e.g. waterfall, agile
  • Working with stakeholders to determine objectives/outcomes, business benefits, priorities, critical success criteria for projects
  • Project estimating and planning (resources, schedules, costs), budgeting, forecasting and budgetary management and control
  • Planning for, and managing, business change and implementation activities
  • Ensuring effective controls are in place on projects – e.g risk and issue management, change control, reporting, etc
  • Managing projects through the defined project lifecycle and governance processes

THE SPARK WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

  • Formal accreditation in project management (APM, Prince2 or equivalent), ideally at practitioner level
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT (Desirable)
  • Track record of delivering IT projects on time and in budget
  • Substantial experience in using project management tools, processes, frameworks and reporting standards - monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
  • Ability to produce detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams - revising based on changing needs and requirements within the business
  • Extensive experience in working with senior stakeholders and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
