Project Manager for Valmet Sundsvall

We are now looking for a Project Manager for Pulp improvement project deliveries in EMEA and global wide project deliveries.
As a Project Manager you will lead and manage customer projects so that customers receive the specified deliveries according to contracts and in mutually agreed schedule. Your task is to ensure the best possible project profit and economic results by managing budget, cost estimations and invoicing. Your other main objective is to obtain high-level customer satisfaction and project´s quality standards.
You will be in charge of customer negotiations, meetings and communication as well as leading our internal meetings. You will also manage project scheduling and follow-up, project risk management, progress reporting internally and externally, warranty time management and guarantee verification together with Technology Team. You will have a change to participate in site execution operations including installation, start-up and customer trainings.
You will belong to the team of Project Managers from Finland and Sweden, and you will work closely with our sales, engineering, purchasing and logistic organizations. You’ll report to Manager, Pulp Project Management.
Requirements:

To be successful in this position you should have

• solid experience and knowledge (minimum 5 years) within technology industry participating demanding customer projects
• knowledge of pulp machines & processes is an advantage
• skills to manage multi-technology and multinational projects and project teams
• good decision making and change management skills and willingness to take the lead
• ability to cope under stress and capability to work with many projects simultaneously
• business financial understanding for decision making and management purposes
• good oral and written Swedish and English skills, other languages are a benefit
• a technical education (M.Sc., B Sc. or corresponding)
