Description:
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Logistics or Engineering related field preferred.
- The business is seeking someone with a background in Contract Logistics at a senior Project Management level within the Warehousing & Distribution sector specifically.
- Experience in Contract Logistics (Warehousing & Distribution) is essential, ideally with a consultative style approach with both multi-user and dedicated site experience.
- You should possess at least 5 years’ experience in Contract Logistics Project Management leadership consistently performing to ensure targets are hit and the logistical aspects are satisfied on a day-to-day, and strategic, level, with blue chip organisations.
- Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills through prior experience on a Regional level.
- Grassroots experience in a logistics environment in a number of different disciplines and locations would be highly beneficial.
- The ideal candidate will be based in either Germany, Netherlands, or France. Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Due to recent customer acquisition and the intention to grow, the business requires an experienced Contract Logistics / Warehousing Project Manager level individual to help drive customer excellence and growth in Europe, in order to maximise efficiency, and minimise costs to the network with a particular focus on the cluster sites.
- The role will come with responsibility for newly developed clients, and current customer accounts too – Greenfield project and Brownfield project exposure will be well balanced.
- From inception through to project handover, the main functions of the role will be the Warehouse Design, Cost Calculations, Budgeting, and assisting with Tender processes, while building and upgrading the teams in place, and ensuring every aspect of the project is conducted successfully and efficiently.
