Xylem is seeking a Project Manager in our Kemps Creek, Sydney Location. The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of projects across the ANZ region contributing to the relevant new order onboarding, design, procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, and close-out phases of projects.

The role:

  • Ensure project scope delivery, including order loading, design management, procurement activities, supervision of installation, and commissioning of projects.
  • Accountable for leading a project team in a matrixed environment comprising sales, designs & engineering, supply chain, finance, product marketing, and applications, legal, and EHS&S.
  • Ensure project delivery is aligned to best practices including quality audits as required.
  • Provides support to customers on a range of Xylem products to service valid customer requirements.
  • Accountable for the oversight of project financials, including costs and variation management, issuing timely invoices and support revenue collection as required.
  • Drive the ongoing focus on improvements in technical areas, commercial outcomes, and related business processes within the Project Delivery Team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and solve technical, logistical and commercials issues that arise,.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project management capacity.
  • Exposure to business management principles in an engineering environment.
  • Water Treatment market Knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Must be a good communicator with a great attitude.
