Responsibilities:

Whether it’s solving problems, consulting on products with compassion or continuing to train and develop your skills, you’ll be helping to push an entire industry technologically forward.
As the Project Manager, you’ll be involved in the full project management life cycle relating to our electronic and control systems projects. You’ll play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, enhancing project management effectiveness, and serving as the primary point of contact for engineering-driven projects and development plans within the Rail industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Take ownership of the project management life cycle for engineering projects
  • Oversee and maintain project schedules, budgets, quality standards throughout the development cycle
  • Coordinate, lead and motivate project teams, and maintain and create positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor and coach project teams and improve overall project management effectiveness
  • Drive engineering deliverables with New Product Introduction phase gate processes
  • Manage and maintain documentation control, financial components, and deliverable traceability and project progress
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify risks and create contingency plans
