Description:
Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Project Officer who will primarily work as part of the core team to provide project and administrative support. An excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Finance background desirable but not essential.
The duration of this post is 12 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. This role will be based in the North East, Hybrid working will apply. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €27.21 per hour based on an annualised salary of €49,702. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
An excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Finance background desirable but not essential.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Must have
- A track record of 2+ years successfully supporting the delivery of services within a busy organisation, preferably (but not necessarily) for a Health Sector Organisation, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
- Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational administrative support for team on a day to day basis, including monitoring and management of the team shared mailboxes.
- Create & update records & databases- to include, but not restricted to; Resource Requests, Equipment Requests, New Starters/Leavers, Monthly timesheet approvals, Invoicing, Contracts etc
- Support the function’s capacity and compliance requirements including updating and preparation of reports.
- Coordinate activities to secure efficiency and compliance to procedures and processes.
- Implement and comply with applicable national ICT policies.
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations as assigned
- Adhere to and update/develop the team’s SOPs catalogue
