- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $110,266 to $122,058 + super
As part of NRAR’s ongoing commitment to quality, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Officer’s to join the Systems and Assurance team.
This is a temporary full-time opportunity commencing ASAP until October 2025.
The role is an exciting pathway into a career in quality assurance, you will develop your understanding of Quality Management Systems and look to play a key role in driving improvement initiatives and lead internal assurance activities within NRAR (Natural Resources Access Regulator). Most importantly you’re ambitious and keen to learn, you’ll want to be part of a high performing team which supports you to expand your knowledge and skills.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in water related areas such as water planning, natural resource management, agriculture, environmental science or a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and a willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays.

Responsibilities:
As a Project Officer with the Systems and Assurance team you’ll be required to:
- Maintain NRAR Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality initiatives and best practices.
- Lead internal assurance activities and prepare documentation and reports.
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality processes and procedures.
- Champion process improvement across the agency
- Support continual improvement actions in an evolving work environment.
