  • Provide recruitment support to principals across the State by accessing additional resources and candidate pools to assist filling vacancies.
  • Engage and support teaching candidates to access employment opportunities.
  • Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of common goals.
  • Utilise and manage multiple platforms, manipulate data and access additional resources to provide tailored client focused solutions.
  • Conduct regular reporting and data analysis of recruitment trends of government schools across the State.
  • Contributes to project plans where objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving them are clearly specified.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications are desired, as is experience in project management or as a human resources business partner.

Responsibilities:

Operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused workforce initiatives team, the Business Partner/Project Officer works closely with Senior Project Officers and Project Managers to deliver strategic workforce initiatives and support services aimed at increasing teacher supply to Victorian government schools.
The role provides an opportunity to support the implementation of workforce initiatives whilst provide high quality resourcing support to schools and teachers. Engaging with schools and teachers daily, you will use your passion for service and enhanced engagement skills to provide resourcing support to schools and linking them into a range of initiatives focused addressing teacher shortages across the public school system.
