We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as: Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.

Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will support the Principal Investigator(s) in the implementation of a portfolio of projects funded by the European funding agencies and coordinated by SnT. The Project Officer will ensure efficient project administration and management, in compliance with the requirements of the European Commission and other European funding agencies (European Defence Agency, etc).

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal Investigator(s) in the implementation and day to day management of ongoing European projects
  • Enable efficient organization and proper communication before, during and after project execution with relevant internal and external stakeholders; e.g. consortium partners, European Commission, internal research, financial and administrative teams
  • Organize and set-up project meetings with project consortium and internal teams
  • Enable administrative management and financial assistance for the ongoing projects
  • Monitor the overall progress and deliverables for the whole project consortium
  • Collect inputs and consolidate project technical and periodic reports
  • Document relevant project information; e.g. contracts, project repositories, reports, deliverables, artifacts
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance of projects and grants with requirements from internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and scan future funding opportunities under European programmes in relevant SnT research domains
  • Support SnT research groups in writing new project proposals as coordinator within EU funded programmes
