Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Powys Teaching Health Board Outpatients Department for a Project Officer to join our Waiting Well Service in Planned Care.
The post holder will be responsible for providing and co-ordinating a comprehensive support service to projects as determined within the 3Ps Policy i.e. Promote, Prevent and Prepare for Planned Care by empowering patients to keep well while on the waiting list.
This is a fixed term position and will end on the 31/03/2026 due to funding.
The post holder will provide reliable and consistent administrative and project support to the Waiting Well Service and associated groups, prioritising workload and dealing with or referring enquires as appropriate.
They will communicate and receive complex, sensitive information, both written and verbal, across multi-disciplinary teams and external organisations always maintaining confidentiality.
The postholder will also produce monitoring reports and returns for Welsh Government, Steering Group, Planned Care Board, and other groups as required.
