Description:

We have an opportunity for a Project Planner to join our team in Ireland working on a large multi fuel gas substation project in Dublin.
As a Project Planner you will work with our Project Managers, on-site team and subcontractors in developing a base line programme. The Programme shall set out the specific design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and testing activities to be performed by AVK and their subcontractors.

Your Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Building a level 4 detailed schedule for delivery of project
  • Cost and labour loading schedule as required
  • Participate in project meetings including planning meeting and progress meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Production of reports from site based information from engineers.
  • Interface with Project Managers to ensure accurate updating of project schedule
  • Coordinating and integrating AVK schedule with master project schedule
  • Reviewing and integrating subcontractor’s schedules into AVK schedule
  • Ensure all commissioning documentation in place, approved and signed off.
  • Provide weekly and monthly progress reports on schedule
  • Providing weekly lookaheads
  • Attending weekly pull plan meetings with Main contractor
  • Providing critical path impacts and analysis for claims/applications

To be considered for the role you will need:

  • To be living in Ireland with relevant right to work documents.
  • Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Experience working on large scale fast track construction projects
  • Good administration skills with strong communication skills at all levels
  • Experience using P6 Primavera & MSP or similar scheduling software
  • Basic understanding of the emergency power industry
