Responsibilities:

AS A PROJECT PLANNER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Managing Schedules: Oversee the overall project schedule management, ensuring its quality (logic, clarity) and accuracy (update of dates, progress, and scope definition).
  • Coordinating: Collaborating with the other planners (product line planners and engineering planners) allocated to the project as well as with the execution functions (engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, logistics up to the fabrication yard) to ensure the overall quality and accuracy of the schedule.
  • Supporting project management : You will be the right-hand person of the project manager and, as such, will provide them visibility on i) looking ahead of tasks to be performed in the 3 – 6 weeks, ii) risks in schedules and mitigation actions, and iii) opportunities in the schedule.
  • Providing relevant reports to project management to ensure the Project Manager has all the tools required to make the right decisions and drive on-time and on-budget project execution.
  • Supporting with the customer: Interact with the customer (internal as well as potentially external) to provide updates on schedule and explain the current situation/challenges/opportunities.
  • Implementing integrated project planning initiatives: Adhere to the approved processes and proactively drive the implementation of new initiatives, leading to fully integrated planning.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent (Engineering / Math/ Science degree is preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Have Experience working within planning, ideally in the subsea industry or a related large-scale electro-mechanical manufacturing or connections equipment environment.
  • Posses expertise in the use of the Primavera P6 planning tool.
  • Have an appreciation for MR
