Description:

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Project Procurement Manager to join our team and lead the procurement function for a significant infrastructure project in Dublin. We are seeking applications from a seasoned procurement leader with a strong background in high-value project management, supply chain optimisation, and vendor relations.
You will play a key role in aligning procurement strategies with project goals to ensure efficient resource allocation, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of all materials and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within large-scale infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive procurement strategy tailored to the project’s goals, timelines, and budget, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers; negotiate terms and secure agreements to ensure the best value and quality.
  • Oversee contract negotiation, execution, and administration, ensuring compliance with all terms and facilitating resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards, leveraging purchasing power, and ensuring risk mitigation.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics, prepare regular reports for senior management, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
