For our New Product Introduction department we are now looking for a Project Purchaser to join our team. You drive purchasing part of new product development projects with bill of material (BOM).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Project management experience.Good knowledge of supply chain industry.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Early involvement with E&D on sourcing activities (DFS).
• Develop sourcing strategies for project (multi source, re-use, ES, LCC etc.).
• Work together with Emerson strategic purchasers and commodity managers to secure supplier base capability readiness (technology, processes etc.).
• Responsible for direct material product cost for assigned projects.
• Conduct Sourcing Review for assigned NPD-projects.
• Negotiating / contracting for specific projects.
• Work cross functionally to ensure that new products are crafted for manufacturing and can be manufactured more efficiently and with higher quality.Creating time plans, coordinate people in multiple factories as well as performing tasks on your own.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Business or equivalent experience in purchasing & supply chain area.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, negotiation and planning.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Personal competencies that are essential for this position, such as communication, flexibility, planning and interpersonal skills.Good knowledge of MS Office.
