Description:

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 10 years of work experience in industrial plants (Power, Oil & Gas, Refining, or Petrochemical industries preferred).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or bachelor’s (preferably in engineering).
  • ISO 9001:2015 training.
  • Welding Coordination training.
  • Auditor Training (ISO 19011).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of German, Portuguese, or French is beneficial.
  • Soft skills: Target-oriented, team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the QSE Director in achieving departmental objectives.
  • Provide quality support to all company departments, especially the EPC department, including document review, tender development, and standards interpretation.
  • Develop and implement a Quality Management System for project execution phases in line with company procedures, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and ensure the implementation of the Project and/or Site Quality Plan in collaboration with the Project Manager and QSE department.
  • Issue welding, NDT, and other quality documents as needed, including WPS’s, Welding Books, Method Statements, and Test Procedures.
  • Approve qualifications for welders and NDT Technicians.
  • Manage Site Quality Officer tasks and subcontractor quality management activities.
  • Assist the Project Manager in resolving client discrepancies and ambiguities.
  • Oversee regular inspections and audits of projects, sites, and suppliers/vendors/subcontractors.
  • Interpret verification, inspection, and test results, and control corrective actions.
  • Participate in expediting activities for systems/equipment fabrication.
  • Manage nonconformity reports and their implementation, communicating updates to the Project Manager and QSE department.
  • Attend quality meetings and prepare monitoring reports.
  • Ensure proper application, maintenance, and calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment associated with works.
  • Provide training and mentoring on quality topics to company and project/site staff, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Manage the collection of relevant project documents for Customer Technical Documentation
