The Project Surveyor will support our Project team in the commercial aspects of our business. They will manage multiple projects ensuring client expectations are met within budget.

  • Review and approve contract terms and manage commercial correspondence work with legal counsel where required.
  • Attend site meetings for contractual discussions and advise on project issues.
  • Valuing variations and monitoring project performance.
  • Interpret project documentation to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare monthly project reports including JCR’s (job costing reports) and place orders in a timely manner for procurement.
  • Demonstrate expertise in dispute resolution and risk management.
  • Assist in improving the supply chain and conducting commercial audits.
  • Produce cash flows and ensure correct notices are issued as per contracts in place.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers/Engineers and place supplier/subcontractor orders.
  • Prepare and submit client applications and reconcile reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be from a mechanical and electrical M&E contracting background
  • Have between 3-5 years experience in an M&E company
  • Hold a degree in quantity surveying or equivalent
