Project Site Engineer (5.5 Days) - WC2

• Manage and oversee assigned projects to ensure effective execution:
• Coordinate the requisition of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Plan for timely delivery of resources while minimizing wastage.
• Track and evaluate subcontractors’ progress and performance:
• Ensure projects stay on schedule, taking corrective actions as needed for deviations.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, clerks-of-work, and authorities regarding project updates, approvals, work acceptance, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials.
• Facilitate the smooth handover of completed projects to customers:
• Manage contract administration, claims, disputes, and finalize accounts.
• Train new project staff on the job to ensure readiness and efficiency.
• Assign and oversee subcontractor tasks, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain and enforce safety standards at the worksite.
• Address technical and coordination issues on-site promptly:
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform quality checks on completed tasks to uphold standards.
• Arrange for overtime work when necessary to meet project timelines.
• Report and document non-conformance issues and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct comprehensive project planning and prepare shop drawings.
• Manage material requisitions and maintain site material stock levels.
• Develop and implement Quality Plans to ensure consistent delivery:
• Ensure all site work complies with approved drawings and instructions from architects, engineers, or clients.Execute tasks as assigned by Senior Manager, Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• A collaborative team player with a mature personality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, with the ability to gather and analyze data efficiently.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing time to maximize productivity.
• Reliable, capable of following instructions, and dedicated to continuous performance improvement through feedback.
