Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Central Estates team as a Project Support Officer.
You’ll be supporting important flood risk management projects across the East and West Midlands using your excellent organisational skills.
You’ll be working in collaboration with surveyor colleagues within the team as well as with teams from across the breadth of the organisation to deliver sustainable environmental outcomes.
As part of this front line operational team, your days will be varied and challenging and include compiling reference information and plans of land ownership as well as co-ordinating activity at all stages of project delivery.
You’ll also be involved in processing sensitive information surrounding compensation negotiations and other financial related activity.
We will support your learning and development specific for this role as well as help you to think about your longer term career.
You may be recently graduated or already have experience in a project support or administrative / financial role and are looking for a change.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation committed to tackling the climate emergency.
