SENIOR PROJECT SURVEYOR

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to translate Client survey specifications into an appropriate survey philosophy which aligns with NKT standards and interests and results in effective project execution.
  • Provide technical support to translate tender/project documents into contract survey requirements.
  • Provide technical support for the preparation of RPP / RFQ regarding survey works; review and evaluate survey proposals.
  • Advise on number of required survey campaigns, installation corridors, equipment choice and their accuracy, vessel size and vessel duration of the various project survey campaigns.
  • Provide survey management i.e. take the lead in working out further details with the survey contractor related to schedule, workflow and data flow, deliverables.
  • Survey operations, and deliverables from subcontractors managed according to overarching survey strategy and according to contract.
  • Give support to ongoing survey campaigns: joining mobilization and demobilization activities, create and review survey procedures, systems calibration, daily reporting, quality control of results, follow up with NKT reps and/or shore support from Survey Subcontractor.
  • Provide shore-based technical support and qualified technical survey decision making.
  • Is familiar with new technologies and survey methodologies
