Project Technician/Coordinator for CCTV System

As the company is constantly growing, we are seeking for a qualified Project Technician/Coordinator for CCTV system to join the team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently
• Able to converse/write minimally in English.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in telecommunication industry especially in security, electronic, surveillance, or IP video industry
• Good knowledge of telecommunication, cabling, configuring router, network switch, wireless bridge and others IT hardware
• Able to hands on for installation works (construction site)
• Knowledge in basic IT, electrical & networking cabling
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Good personality – cool headed
• Able to start work immediately or short notice
• Able to configure/set up biometric is a bonus

We are looking for a qualified Project Technician/Coordinator for CCTV system, who become the primary point of contact for the client. Responsible for project implementation, installation and commissioning of the surveillance systems.

• Understand and ensure that both client needs and technical requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of each project
• Understand of CCTV & Security System operation & function, and maintain a high level of knowledge in security concepts
• Conduct site survey, attend the client site location for meetings, and in charge of the project deployment
• Plan, lead and deploy CCTV & Security System
• Effectively agree, record and communicate project milestones with relevant documentation signed by client (DO/Service Reports)
• Responsible for carrying out operating tasks related to CCTV systems
• Check for available firmware updates for cameras, recorders, and other system components
• Monitor, evaluate and perform necessary upgrades/updates to ensure optimal performance and security
• Ensure works are carried out in compliance with safety requirement for construction sites. E.g. wearing proper PPE, no unsafe acts
• Ensure compliance with CCTV code & security requirements
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet the highest quality standards
• Provide technical support, training, guidance and assistance to clients and internal sales team
• Stay updated to industry trends and market practices
• Conduct maintenance check on installation works according to different site requirements (quarterly/semi-annually/annually)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
