Description:

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

You will be supporting our PMO and Project Management teams with all aspects of client project delivery and organisational running.
Working in our PMO team, you’ll get to work with teams across the business to ensure the smooth running of our client projects.
This is an interesting and varied role that would provide many opportunities to pursue different aspects of project management and PMO.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting Project Managers to plan our key client projects, ensuring resource requirements are forecasted correctly and visible to team leads
  • Proving support to team leads with resource allocation of projects to team members, maintaining accuracy of project management and resourcing software
  • Supporting wider PMO team to review capacity across the business and advise team leads on upcoming peaks and challenges, looking ahead at business requirements
  • Support project teams to ensure project compliance to data retention and processing policies, maintaining central records and running regular governance checks
  • Maintaining our flexible resource pool, managing administration of joiners/leavers, bookings and queries as required
  • Maintain business knowledge management tools, updating with best practice as required
  • Support with the production of manager insight reports on team utilisation, flexible resource spend and other ad hoc topics as required
  • Administrative support on project management and HR tools as required

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

We are looking for someone with an interest in Project Management / PMO, who is eager to get stuck in to all aspects of project and programme management.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to plan ahead and foresee challenges and risks, and plan accordingly
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Experience in a project management/PMO or administrative role beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role will be working in a pivotal central team within Ipsos Karian & Box, providing behind-the-scenes support to a high-performing research consultancy.
Working across departments, this role will work within the PMO team to provide essential insight to business leaders, using operational data to produce regular managerial reporting. It will also support Project Managers to plan effectively and efficiently to enable delivery of large research and internal communication projects on time, to budget and to our high standards for our multinational client base.
This role can be offered on a remote basis or hybrid working to be based in London, York or Manchester!
