SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering
  • Eligible for registration with APEGA, APEGS and APEGM
  • 1- 4 years of progressively responsible project management experience related to facility and pipeline operations
  • Previous asset and system planning experience is beneficial
  • Previous capital project delivery experience is beneficial
  • Familiarity with PMBOK and/or working towards or having PMP designation is beneficial
  • Familiarity with CSA Z662, CER and Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba Provincial Pipeline regulations
  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of personal initiative and work effectively, independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient with data driven analysis and data visualization tools
  • Experience in risk management, risk analysis, and root-cause analysis considered an asset
    Kingston Midstream is committed to providing a flexible work practice to allow employees to work both from the office and from a remote location. This position would work remotely Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with internal stakeholders to initiate, evaluate and develop project business justifications enabling prioritization of projects, efficient use of project resources and deployment of capital
  • Identification of business opportunities, alternative solutions, selection of alternatives and development of high-level cost estimates and schedules for the selected alternative
  • Collaborate across operations, projects, and engineering alike to use data-driven analysis to identify opportunities, as well as support critical decision making
  • Use operating system knowledge and risk analysis to recommend opportunities to maximize the value of the capital portfolio
  • Plan and execute engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities in accordance with the Company’s health, safety & environmental standards, design specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Plan, develop, and design project scopes, execution plans, budgets, and schedules to deliver projects safely and effectively
  • Prepare and present material for Management approva
