PROJECTS MANAGER (ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS)

Location: All Operating regions (South)
Salary: £57,500 per annum
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

We are actively seeking a Project Manager to provide technical expertise to assist the operational team and manage specific projects to ensure that Aster Property provides a “safety first” culture and delivers an affordable, profitable, efficient and customer-orientated property management service.
As part of the projects team you will procure, manage and deliver improvement, refurbishment projects of a more complex nature, and in addition will provide technical support and guidance across the maintenance directorate.

Projects are typically valued in the range £50k to £2.5m and are varied in nature and location. Current live projects include:

  • Cladding replacement on 6-storey block of flats
  • External refurbishment of roofs, windows and doors of block of flats with external wall repairs
  • Rebuilding fire damaged pair of houses
  • Underpinning a bungalow with subsidence issue
  • Large scale roof replacement on listed building

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Appraising new projects and setting a delivery strategy
  • Managing projects end to end and\or managing consultants on Aster’s behalf
  • Ensuring Planning, Building and CDM Regulations are adhered to
  • Financial management of projects to budget
  • Carrying out customer and leaseholder consultation and engagement
  • Writing specifications, tendering projects and managing contractors
