Responsibilities:
As our Taranaki Projects Manager you’ll be tasked with working across multiple projects, owning the management and coordination. Working to tight timeframes, and closely with our clients, you’ll be forming the foundations of projects to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones. Our sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations/switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.
Key role responsibilities are:
- Plan, budget, oversee, manage and document all aspects of projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to budget
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors and external stakeholders
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Update programmes
Collate and reconciliate all project costs against budget on a weekly basisEnsure contract compliance is maintained
You will have:
- A relevant construction Degree or Diploma and/or at least three years relevant project management experience
- Experience working on NZ civil construction sites
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team unity and client serviceA commitment to all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental compliance onsite
