JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Support Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a hands-on approach, with an emphasis on eye for detail, good care and handling of products, and excellent communication. The Project Support Operative will be instrumental in facilitating project operations and contributing to the overall success of our initiatives.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a project support role or similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical work is required; candidates should be physically fit to handle demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:
- Delivering furniture and equipment around the UK generally only one/two drop/s per delivery, this could be delivery only over the threshold of a care home and unpack or may include arriving at site to meet external fitters or project manager to assist with labour on site i.e. room placing of furniture, confident in fixing items to walls such as clocks, TV’s, mirrors, dispensers etc, unpacking products and removal of rubbish.
- Warehouse work, required when not delivering projects this would include the upkeep of the projects area, keeping organised and tidy. Checking of goods for any damages, Labelling up stock and putting into locations, picking large project orders and smaller individual orders. Good care and handling of products must be taken as many of our products are fragile
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project activities and resources effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for project materials and equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Competent in Email / Outlook and computer knowledge required - Training on software will be given
- Representation of the company whilst delivering therefore a smart appearance with good verbal communication is essential
- Flexibility with working hours is crucial for the role to accommodate required delivered times.
